Meet Glen,
your go-to Handyman, Minneapolis
My story starts back on my family’s farm in Iowa, where I first learned the ropes of building and fixing things with my dad who was a skilled builder. Those early lessons were more than just construction; they were about the value of hard work and doing things right.
Over the years, I’ve built my skill sets, from overseeing projects at a roofing company to fixing farm equipment and even crunching numbers for a nonprofit as an accountant. At the end of the day, what I’ve always strived to do is to look out for my customer. This is something I learned while making sure homeowners didn’t have to hassle with insurance claims at the roofing company.
After years as an employee, I wanted more than the regular 9-to-5. I desired the freedom to be there for my family’s big moments which was tricky when I didn’t control my schedule. So, I took everything I knew and poured it into Minneapolis Handyman. It’s not just a business; it’s about bringing lifelong passion for fixing things into your home.
Speaking of home, my home is full of life with my wife, Tarah, who’s a nurse practitioner, two teenagers, and two pre-teens. I’m enjoying the small respite from my roll of chauffeur when my oldest got their driver’s license – a small win for any parent!
